By Road
On the North-South Highway, take the Taiping exit out of the highway. Follow the signs to Taiping after the toll and from Taiping town head towards the lake gardens. There are signs showing the way to Bukit Larut(Maxwell Hill)

Take the Transnasional Coach from the Hentian Duta Bus Terminal. Need more information, click to taiping

Catch a cab from town to the foot of Maxwell Hill for about RM5. If you rather walk, it is about 6km from town.It's a lovely walk through the gardens.
Base Station
At the bottom of the hill, our land rover came to a halt after a 45minute diesel-choking ride down. I felt a little light headed by the time we got down from the carbon monoxide and fumes. So make sure you stick to the front seat next to the driver if you're not good with car-rides. It's best to book your seat on the land rover as it only takes a maximum of 8 plus driver.
The main office is also situated at the bottom of the hill where you can make bookings for your rides up and down the hill or to stay overnight.
