Bota Kanan River Terrapin Wildlife Conservation Centre - getting there
By Car
Take the North-South highway towards Ipoh. Get off at Batu Gajah or Gopeng exit and head down towards Batu Gajah. Bota Kanan is about 40km from Batu Gajah on the Batu Gajah to Lumut road. There are signs all over the place directing drivers to the centre. Just follow the 'Pusat Pemuliharaan Tuntung Bota Kanan' or the Bota Kanan Terrapin Conservation Centre'.
By Bus
From KL
Catch the bus to Ipoh and from there try getting an omnibus to Bota Kanan from the intrastate bus terminal .
By Train
There is a KTM train station at Batu Gajah Check the ktmb schedule for times. You may have to catch a taxi from here to the center which is about 40km away. Or catch a passing omnibus and ask to be dropped off at Bota Kanan
