Itinerary:

Day 1 (Dinner Included)

  • Meet upon arrival. transfer to TVRC by air-cond coach/ van

  • Check in to Chalet. Free at leisure

  • Briefing and equipment check

  • Overnight at TVRC

Day 2 (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

  • Breakfast then prepare for climb

[7.30 am]

  • Depart Tambunan V RC by 4WD. Drive to Kg Kaingaran which is the starting point

[9.30 am]

  • Start trekking (6-8 hours) Lunch enroute

[4.00 pm]

  • Arrive at base camp

  • Set up tent

  • Free at leisure

  • Cofee / tea break

[6.00 pm]

  • Dinner

Day 3 (Breakfast, Lunch included)

  • Witness beautiful sunrise then breakfast

[6.30 am]

  • Proceed to the summit. Witness the outstanding view of Mount Trusmadi

[8.30 am]

  • Arrive at the summit

[9.00 am]

  • Descend to base camp

[10.30 am]

  • Arrive at base camp

[11.00 am]

  • Start Descend

[3.00 pm]

  • Arrive at Kg. Kaingaran (starting point). Continue to TVRC

[5.00 pm]

  • Collect luggage. Then proceed to Kota Kinabalu

[6.30 pm]

  • Arrive at Kota Kinabalu. Tour Ends

Hotel Description

Destination Kinabalu , Sabah Measuring 2642m, Mount Trusmadi is the second highest peak in Malaysia. The trails and area of Mount Trusmadi are rich with biological diversity; endemic species (those unique only to the mountain or its area) thrive along the slopes and summit.

The trip to the summit is interesting and very challenging . At the summit you can witness the most amazing view of the majestic Mount Kinabalu with the some of the the oldest rainforest in the world as your backdrop.

Located about 70 km south-east of Kota Kinabalu. Registration of climbers is a must with the Tambunan Forestry Department before proceeding with the climb and hiring local mountain guides is strictly required before the attempt. Open daily, but advance reservation/ booking of at least 1 month is required

 

SPECIAL NOTE:


It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia, Peptic ulcers, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
